Our Vision

Caring for and fostering interactions between the life science industries and their social, economic and political environments.

Our mission

Sharing

We care about our environments and help foster the image of our sectors and activities, as they offer unique development opportunities, especially for future generations.

Creating synergies

We build a community of Life Sciences Companies, promote networking and facilitate the sharing of expertise and best practices.

Safeguarding

We look after the interests of the Life Sciences sectors to preserve the best possible sustainable environment for their continued development in our region.

Committees

Safety and Environment Committee

The safety and environment committee regroups experts from our member companies in these areas in order to share best practices and develop common tools, that become available to all our members and to our community.

Safety and Environment are constantly evolving fields which are a major priority for all our members. Shared experiences and the pooling of our resources enable the creation of standard documentation and the allocation of common tools, as well as the elaboration of opinions on future regulatory affairs. Different outputs were created by this committee e.g. Laboratory Safety Best Practices or Safety Movie for visitors.

Human Resources Committee

The Human Resources Committee coordinates actions to increase awareness and promote the attractiveness of career opportunities at all levels in life sciences. It serves as a partner to the Academic Institutions, establishing a dialog on programs and ensuring industry support to the education cursi, from Apprenticeships to Master programs.

Examples of the outputs include the development and co-financing of the Chimiscope / Bioscope initiatives at UNIGE, allowing thousands of young students to have a ludic introduction to the sciences of life.
